Maplewood Elegance

This New York City family was always debating a move to the surburbs for a spacious house complete with a lawn, dog and a convenient two-car garage. While working in a NYC hospital, the early exposure to Covid hastened their plan , prompting them to expedite the search for their dream home. They stumbled upon a true fixer-upper – which was not originally part of their plan – but with the help of an architect, designer and builder they were able to see the vision it could become. Thus began their exciting journey to renovate and thoughtfully design every inch of the four floors of this classic 1920s Dutch colonial, including the expansive outdoor living space that would enhance their family’s lifestyle.
